The body of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi has not been found yet, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, Turkey's Patriotic Party (VATAN) leader Dogu Perincek told Sputnik citing security sources that the body of the murdered journalist had been found in a well in the residence of the Saudi consul general in Istanbul.

"Why has the body of someone, the killing of whom have been officially admitted, is nowhere to be found," Erdogan told the parliament, as aired by the TRT broadcaster.
