Erdogan To Visit US On September 23-27, To Speak At UN General Assembly - Statement

ANKARA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st September, 2018) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the United States on September 23-27 and speak at the session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, Erdogan's press service said Friday.
"Our president will visit the United States on September 23-27 to participate in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly. During the session, he will take part in the high-level meeting on migration on September 24, and on September 25 he will make an address to the General Assembly," the statement, received by Sputnik, reads.
The press service noted that Erdogan would also hold bilateral meetings with the UN secretary general, heads of state and government of a number of countries, as well as meeting with representatives of the US business community and of Muslim and Turkish communities.
Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said that the issue of a possible meeting of Erdogan and US President Donald Trump had not been decided upon yet.
