Erdogan, Trump Discuss Death of Saudi Journalist Khashoggi - Reports

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd October, 2018) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump held a phone conversation having discussed the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the the Saudi consulate in the Turkish city of Istanbul, local media reported.

According to the NTV broadcaster, Erdogan and Trump agreed that it was necessary to clarify the situation around the death of Khashoggi.

The leaders have also discussed the recent release of�American Pastor Andrew Brunson from a Turkish prison.
