EU Ambivalent in Approach to Iran Despite INSTEX Mechanism - Russia's Ryabkov

The European Union maintains dual approach to Iran despite setting up a mechanism for bilateral transactions, dubbed INSTEX, to bypass US sanctions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Monday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th February, 2019) The European Union maintains dual approach to Iran despite setting up a mechanism for bilateral transactions, dubbed INSTEX, to bypass US sanctions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Monday.

"There are clear signs of duality in the approach of our European partners, despite taking certain steps to create conditions for normal economic cooperation with Iran, including the INSTEX mechanism," the diplomat said.
