Four EU Members' Top Diplomats to Discuss Relations With China, Russia, US, Brexit Mar 19

BERLIN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th March, 2019) German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas plans to discuss on March 19 in Helsinki with counterparts from Finland, Sweden and Denmark relations with China, Russia and the United States, as well as the situation in the EU in connection with Brexit, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Adebar said at a briefing Monday.

"Tomorrow? On Tuesday, March 19, Minister Maas will fly to Helsinki to meet with counterparts from Finland, Denmark and Sweden. This is the so-called M1+3 format, initiated by Germany in 2014. The last meeting was held in Berlin at the end of 2016. At the meeting, the foreign ministers will discuss China, Russia, transatlantic relations, of course, the talk will be about the EU and Brexit, as well as about Finland's upcoming EU presidency," Adebar said.
