General Raheel Sharif Meeting With Chinese Army Chief And Political Leaders

Urumqi, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd August, 2016) : Army Chief General Raheel Sharif arrived in Urumqi city on a day trip to China where he met with Fang, the head of the Chinese military.
According to ISPR, mutual interest, including Pakistan and China's military relations, security cooperation were discussed during the meeting of Pak-China Army Chiefs.
ISPR stated that the meeting also deliberated on the long-term security of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
Bilateral relations and regional security, including the CPEC were also discussed during the meeting. The Army Chief also held a separate meeting with Party Secretary Xinkiang province, Mr. Zhang Chun Xian in Urumqi.
