Georgian Prime Minister Arrives For Informal Visit To Armenia - Armenian Government

YEREVAN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th March, 2019) Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze arrived on Sunday in Armenia for an informal visit to meet his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan, the Armenian government's press service said in a statement.

"Bakhtadze held on March 24 an informal meeting with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan in the village of Yenokavan, Tavush Province of Armenia.

The parties discussed bilateral Armenian-Georgian issues, having pointed out their importance in all spheres," the statement obtained by Sputnik said.

According to the statement, the parties expressed belief that further contacts would promote development and expansion of bilateral ties.

"In this context the parties pointed out importance of both official and private meetings," the statement noted.

The Armenian government added that the previous such meeting was held in the Georgian city of Bolnisi.
