A summit of Germany, France, Russia and Turkey on Syria may make sense, it should be prepared well, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters in Berlin on Friday.
BERLIN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th August, 2018) A summit of Germany, France, Russia and Turkey on Syria may make sense, it should be prepared well, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters in Berlin on Friday.
"A meeting with Germany, France, Turkey and Russia taking part may make sense, it should be prepared well.
That is why there is no meeting date yet," Merkel said.
She said the issue of a Germany-France-Russia-Turkey summit on Syria would be raised at Saturday's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
