The format of the mission to monitor the situation in the Kerch Strait will be coordinated during the negotiation process, but Germany is ready to share the costs of its financing, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Friday
"We have not advanced enough to say that this mission already exists. How it will look will depend on how the negotiations will proceed in the future," Maas said at a briefing following talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in Kiev.
"There will be costs that we will take on. After all, the decision must be transparent, all parties must give their consent," Maas added.
