Gov't In Eastern Libya Urges Russia To Contribute To Conflict Settlement -Foreign Minister

The foreign minister of the Tobruk-based government controlling eastern Libya, Abd Hadi Houweish, told Sputnik on Monday that his cabinet was urging Russia to contribute to the Libyan settlement
AL BAYDA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th April, 2019) The foreign minister of the Tobruk-based government controlling eastern Libya, Abd Hadi Houweish, told Sputnik on Monday that his cabinet was urging Russia to contribute to the Libyan settlement.
"Russia is a key state. We want to call on it to patronize the project of the [Libyan] national reconciliation, similar to the support it gave to the Syrian [congress] in Sochi. We hope for a 'Libyan Sochi,'" the official said.
