Hamilton Hit With Five-place Bahrain Grid Penalty

Sakhir, Bahrain, April 6 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2018 ) :World champion Lewis Hamilton is set to take a five-place grid penalty at Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix following a gearbox change on his Mercedes late Friday, his team and race stewards announced.
"@LewisHamilton will take a five-place grid penalty for the #BahrainGP after having to change his gearbox," tweeted Mercedes. Four-time world champion Hamilton had wound up fourth fastest earlier in second free practice session at the Bahrain International Circuit behind Ferrari duo Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel and Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas.
