Russia is trying to facilitate the implementation of the Yemeni settlement agreements by the parties to the conflict, as the peace process has been stalled, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Monday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th February, 2019) Russia is trying to facilitate the implementation of the Yemeni settlement agreements by the parties to the conflict, as the peace process has been stalled, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Monday.
"Unfortunately, as it has already happened before, implementation of the Stockholm agreements has been stalled. We, our Omani partners and other countries that are actively trying to facilitate the political process are now seeking to bring the parties back to implementing the agreements reached in Stockholm," the minister said at talks with Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah.
