NEW DELHI, Sept. 22 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday left for a four-day visit to the United States at the invitation of U.S. President Joe Biden.
The highlight of Modi's visit would be his address at the United Nations General Assembly focusing on the pressing global challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to combat terrorism, climate change and other important issues.
During his visit, the Indian PM will exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest with the U.S. side.
"I am also looking forward to meeting Vice President Kamala Harris to explore opportunities for cooperation between our two nations particularly in the area of science and technology," said Modi in his statement before departing.
