Int'l Trail Marathon In Northern Vietnam To Lure 1,900 Runners

Some 1,900 people from 39 countries and regions will join Vietnam Trail Marathon, Asia's biggest trail marathon, in the country's northern Son La province this weekend, the organizer said on Wednesday
HANOI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :Some 1,900 people from 39 countries and regions will join Vietnam Trail Marathon, Asia's biggest trail marathon, in the country's northern Son La province this weekend, the organizer said on Wednesday.
The marathon slated for Saturday and Sunday will gather leading trail runners in the world, including Jo Meek from the United Kingdom and Moritz auf der Heide from Germany, said organizer Topas, an international travel agency focusing on adventures in remote parts of the globe.
Athletes will compete in four race distances, namely the 10km mountain run, 21km half marathon, 42km full marathon, and 70km ultra marathon, running through picturesque mountainous landscapes, including ethnic minority villages, flower-covered fields, tea plantations and orchards.
