Investigators Find One More Person Involved In 2015 Murder Of Russian Servicemen In Syria

The Russian Investigative Committee told Sputnik that it identified one more person involved in the 2015 murder of Russian servicemen in Syria, this is Syrian resident Ramadan Adi bin Adnan, he was put on the international wanted list and arrested in absentia
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd September, 2021) The Russian Investigative Committee told Sputnik that it identified one more person involved in the 2015 murder of Russian servicemen in Syria, this is Syrian resident Ramadan Adi bin Adnan, he was put on the international wanted list and arrested in absentia.
On November 24, 2015, Russia's Su-24M bomber pilot Oleg Peshkov and marine Alexander Pozynich were killed on the Syrian territory. Charges were brought against 14 members of illegal armed groups, all of them are on the wanted list.
"The criminal investigation continues ... The identity of Syrian citizen Ramadan Adi bin Adnan was established," the investigative committee said.
Investigators found in the internet a photo of Adnan standing with a weapon next to Peshkov's dead body, the committee explained.
"Evidence confirmed this person's involvement in the offense charged ... Ramadan Adi bid Adnan was put on the international wanted list," the Russian Investigative Committee said, adding, that he was arrested in absentia.
