Iran Envoy Calls For Expansion Of Persian Language In Russia

MOSCOW, F(APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Feb, 2018 ) :Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 14th Olympiad of Persian Language and Literature held at Institute of Asia and Africa of the Moscow State University Tuesday, Sanaei said the Olympiad held in Moscow on yearly basis has turned into a good tradition attracting students of Persian language and literature from various parts of Russia.
The Iranian envoy also expressed hope that Iranology and education of Persian language and literature in Russia would further promote in parallel with Tehran-Moscow ties.
Elsewhere in his speech, he referred to Tehran-Moscow cooperation at mutual, regional and international levels, noting that the relations between the two countries are the highest level in the past 500 years to an extent that the Presidents of the two countries meet with each other twice a year.
He said cooperation between the two countries have produced positive results in various arenas. At the end of the ceremony, top students in various fields of Persian grammar, comprehension, reading and writing were introduced and awarded.
