MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th December, 2018) Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh confirmed on Tuesday that Iran had conducted a test of a ballistic missile, which was earlier announced by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Earlier in December, Pompeo said that Iran had test-launched a medium-range ballistic missile capable of carrying "multiple warheads," in violation of a UN Security Council resolution. Pompeo added that the United States condemned the test and called on Iran to immediately stop such activities.
"We are conducting missile tests, the latest [test] was very important," Hajizadeh told the Fars news agency.
