Irish Diplomats Evaluate Whelan's Conditions In Russia As Normal - Family

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th January, 2019) The Irish diplomats who visited Paul Whelan, detained in Russia on charges of espionage, evaluated his condition as being normal, the Whelan family said on Wednesday.
"The Irish consular staff met with Paul today...� [They] said the prison conditions were okay, that he had his glasses, and was working on learning some Russian words," Paul Whelan's brother David said in a statement.
