Israel Welcomes Opening Of Armenian Embassy In Israel - Foreign Ministry

JERUSALEM (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2019) The Israeli Foreign Ministry welcomed on Thursday a decision of the Armenian government to open an embassy in Israel.
"Israel welcomes this decision," the ministry said in a statement.
This decision reflects great convergence in relations over the last year, it added.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that Armenia's decision indicated Israel's growing influence in the world.
"We warmly welcome the decision of the government of #Armenia to open an Embassy in #Israel! This important step enhances our relations," Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yuval Rotem tweeted.
He also added that this is the 90th embassy in Israel, as the country's diplomacy continues to grow, striving for better relations with all nations.
