Israeli Army Brings Strong Reinforcements To Border With Gaza Over Rocket Attacks

The Israeli military has brought a significant number of additional forces and assets to the Gaza Strip and is ready to expand its operations against Palestinian militants who are shelling the southern regions of the country, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Jonathan Conricus said Monday.

TEL AVIV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th November, 2018) The Israeli military has brought a significant number of additional forces and assets to the Gaza Strip and is ready to expand its operations against Palestinian militants who are shelling the southern regions of the country, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Jonathan Conricus said Monday.

Conricus told reporters at a news briefing that in response to 200 rockets that had been fired from the enclave, the Israeli military had already attacked over 30 militant targets in the Gaza Strip and continued to deliver strikes against the Palestinian militants.

"The Israel Defense Forces also deployed a significant number of additional forces and military equipment [at the border with Gaza]. We are ready to expand our actions against terrorist organizations," he added.
