Israeli Security Forces Kill Palestinian Suspected Of Killing 2 Israelis - Border Police

TEL AVIV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th March, 2019) The Israeli security forces have eliminated in the West Bank a Palestinian, who killed two Israeli citizens on Sunday, the Israel Border Police said in a press release late on Tuesday.

On Sunday, a Palestinian, who was later identified as Omar Abu Lila, stabbed to death a 19-year-old Israeli soldier and seized his weapon.

The Palestinian then opened fire, killing Rabbi Ahiad Ettinger, 47, and injuring another Israeli serviceman.

"After the building, in which [the Palestinian] was hiding in the village of Abwein, was surrounded, the attacker opened fire at Yamam [Israel's Counter Terrorism Unit] staff and was killed in the exchange of fire that occurred," the press release said.

The police added that it had not suffer any losses in the encounter with the Palestinian.
