Italy's Salvini Says Only Met Corruption Suspect Arata Once - Reports

Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said Friday that he has nothing to conceal about his relations with businessman and former Forza Italia lawmaker Paolo Arata, who is suspected of corruption, and only met him once, local media reported
"I only met him once.
How many times do I have to say it?" Salvini told reporters when asked about links with Arata, as quoted by the ANSA news agency.
Salvini added that he and his Lega Nord party had nothing to hide about their relationship with Arata.
According to prosecutors, Arata is in the case focusing on mafia and bribes for the Sicilian regional government.
