Kaspersky Lab Says Considers Filing Complaints Against Apple In EU, BRIC

Kaspersky Lab is considering the possibility of filing complaints in the EU and BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) against the restrictions imposed by Apple in App Store, the Russian cybersecurity company told Sputnik

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th March, 2019) Kaspersky Lab is considering the possibility of filing complaints in the EU and BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) against the restrictions imposed by Apple in App Store, the Russian cybersecurity company told Sputnik.

"We are considering the possibility of filing complaints in other countries (including the EU and BRIC) against restrictions imposed by Apple," a Kaspersky Lab spokesman said.

Earlier in the day, Kaspersky Lab reported that it had filed a complaint against Apple with Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). The statement concerns Apple's policy regarding applications distributed through App Store.
