Kim, Putin Agreed to Boost Trade, Economic Cooperation at Vladivostok Summit - Reports

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th April, 2019) North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed at their recent bilateral summit to take action to bring economic and trade cooperation to a higher level, the North Korean state-run KCNA news agency reported on Friday.

The two leaders also agreed to boost the work of the bilateral Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, according to the agency.

The landmark talks took place in Vladivostok on Thursday. Both leaders praised the substantive discussions they had and noted they have addressed the situation on the Korean Peninsula and bilateral cooperation.
