VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th April, 2019) North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who has recently arrived in Russia ahead of his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, has visited a Russian-Korean House of Friendship in Primorsky Territory, a source in Far Eastern Railway told Sputnik.
Earlier in the day, Kim arrived at Khasan railway station, where he was welcomed with bread and salt.
After that Kim took flowers and went into the station building.
"He has visited a Russian-Korean House of Friendship," the source said.
The house of friendship was built back in 1986 ahead of former North Korean leader Kim Il Sung's visit to the USSR.
On Tuesday, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said that Putin and Kim would meet on April 25 in the eastern Russian city of Vladivostok. Ushakov noted that the talks would focus on a political and diplomatic solution to the nuclear problem of the Korean Peninsula.
