MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 13th February, 2019) The Kremlin denies allegations of Russia's involvement in cyberattacks on Ukraine's Central Election Commission (CEC) shortly before the presidential election there, which will be held on March 31, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

"We don't know anything about it.

I can only say that we hear a huge number of similar statements from different countries, it seems, it takes on the character of some kind of mania or phobia," Peskov told reporters when asked whether the Kremlin knew about the statement by the head of the Ukrainian cyberpolice that Russian-controlled hackers were stepping up attacks on the CEC.

He said such statements had nothing to do with reality.

"Russia has never had anything to do with various manifestations of cybercrime," Peskov said.
