MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st March, 2019) The Kremlin dismissed on Thursday reports on Moscow thinking over potential scenarios for Russian President Vladimir Putin to retain power after his tenure ends in 2024.

Bloomberg has reported earlier in the day with reference to sources that Putin's administration was considering a scenario of Putin staying in power after 2024 by uniting Russia and Belarus.

"We have familiarized ourselves with the reports, but they are free floor routine that has nothing to do with what is being discussed in the Kremlin," Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
