MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th October, 2018) Russia should not interfere in the situation around Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, whose recent disappearance has become high-profile, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday, expressing hope that this situation would be settled in line with the law.
"I do not believe that we should in any way meddle with or discuss, or pick to pieces the situation around the Saudi journalist. We are, of course, satisfied that the Turkish investigative authorities cooperate with the Saudi diplomats. We hope that the situation will be settled in line with the law without any unfounded accusations," Peskov told Russia's Channel One.
