LONDON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th January, 2019) UK opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn introduced a motion on vote of no confidence in Theresa May's government following the vote on Brexit deal agreement in the UK parliament on Tuesday.
A total of 432 lawmakers voted against the deal, while only 202 members of the parliament supported it.
"The results of tonight's vote is the greatest defeat of the government since the 1920s in this House ... The government has lost confidence of this House and this country. I therefore Mr. Speaker inform you I have now tabled a motion of no confidence and I am pleased this motion will be debated tomorrow so this House can give its verdict on the sheer incompetence of this government...," Corbyn said addressing the parliament.
