Lavrov Invites San Marino's State Secretary For Foreign Affairs To Visit Russia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during his first official visit to the enclaved nation of San Marino on Thursday, invited Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Nicola Renzi to Russia and promised him a warm welcome
"We have just had a tete-a-tete [with Renzi].
Today, for the first time in history, the head of the [Russian] Foreign Ministry is visiting San Marino, and we have agreed that the next step would be your visit to Russia," Lavrov said, addressing his colleague.
The Russian foreign minister promised Renzi that his reception in Russia "will be warm and hospitable."
The two nations marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations in September 2018.
