Lukashenko Says Wants To Hold Meeting With Putin Soon To Discuss Problematic Issues

Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday that he wanted to hold a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, soon in order to discuss the problematic issues of the bilateral relations.
MINSK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th December, 2018) Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday that he wanted to hold a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, soon in order to discuss the problematic issues of the bilateral relations.
On December 7, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Putin and Lukashenko had agreed to hold a meeting before the end of the year.
"To be honest, I was planning to summarize the results of the Russian-Belarussian cooperation [at the meeting with Russian media representatives]. But there are still some questions left. And in near future we'll try to resolve them with my Russian colleague," Lukashenko said during his meeting with representatives of Russian media.
