Malaysian Prime Minister's Visit To China To Yield New Defense Contracts -Defense Minister

Malaysia and China plan to sign a number of agreements on defense cooperation following the Malaysian prime minister's upcoming visit to China, Malaysian Defense Minister Mohamad Sabu said on Wednesday on the sidelines of Moscow Conference on International Security
Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad arrived in Beijing earlier in the day for a five-day working visit.
"I also want to emphasize that our cooperation [with China] will only improve, as this week a visit of our prime minister will take place in China, after which a number of agreements on defense activities will be signed," Sabu told reporters.
According to media reports, Mahathir is set to attend the Belt and Road forum and hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang, among others.
