BERLIN (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th August, 2018) German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Friday that a number of common problems, including the situation in Syria and Ukraine, bilateral economic cooperation, makes continuous dialogue with Russia reasonable.

"The number of problems we deal with, from Ukraine to Syria, the issue of our cooperation in economic area, is so diverse that it justifies constant dialogue," Merkel told a press conference, noting that she wanted to "continue this dialogue" during talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday.
