Mexican Authorities Disarm Acapulco Police Force In Suspected Crime Case

MEXICO CITY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th September, 2018) The Mexican authorities said on Tuesday they had disarmed the entire police force in the resort town of Acapulco.
The move comes as authorities suspect possible infiltration by criminals into local police force, according to a communique released by the Guerrero state security coordination group.
According to the coordination group's spokesman Roberto Alvarez Heredia, all police officers will be placed under investigation.
Two detained policemen are suspected of murder.
