The number of people killed in an explosion at a ruptured oil pipeline in Mexico's central Hidalgo state has increased to 66, Governor Omar Fayad said on Saturday

BUENOS AIRES (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th January, 2019) The number of people killed in an explosion at a ruptured oil pipeline in Mexico's central Hidalgo state has increased to 66, Governor Omar Fayad said on Saturday.

Previous death toll stood at 20.

"The information we have received shortly before coming to the press conference is 66 killed and 76 wounded, some of them are in serious and very serious condition," Fayad said in a briefing broadcast live on Twitter.
