MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th March, 2019) The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria said Sunday that over the past 24 hours, it had registered ceasefire breaches in the Syrian provinces of Hama and Latakia.
"Over the past day, the militants attacked Kinsabba, Kastal-El-Borj, Dahr-Abu-Asad, Ruayset-Iskander and northern suburbs of Kinsabba in Lattakia Province, Tell Bizam, Umm Sakhrid, Muhradah, Al-Jayez and Shaar in Hama Province," the center's head Col. Gen. Viktor Kupchishin said.
The number of Syrians who were granted amnesty by the Syrian authorities over evading the duties of military service was 56,626 as of Saturday, he added.
"As of March 9, 31,358 residential buildings, 146 medical and 824 educational institutions have been restored," he stressed.
Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, with the government forces fighting against numerous opposition groups and militant and terrorist organizations. Russia, along with Turkey and Iran, is a guarantor of the ceasefire regime in Syria. Moscow has also been providing humanitarian aid to residents of the crisis-torn country.
