Mogherini To Meet With Iranian Foreign Minister On UNGA Sidelines Monday - EU Commission

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini will hold a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif later on Monday on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the European Commission said.

BRUSSELS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th September, 2018) EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini will hold a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif later on Monday on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the European Commission said.

The meeting is expected to take place at 9:50 a.m. local time (13:50 GMT).

According to the European Commission, during the UNGA session, Mogherini will also chair the Ministerial Meeting with Iran on the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal.
