Montana two-term Governor Steve Bullock, a Democrat and red state winner, said on Tuesday that he was launching a presidential campaign for the 2020 US election

"To give everyone a fair shot, we must do more than defeat [US President] Donald Trump. We have to defeat the corrupt system that keeps people like him in power, and we need a fighter who's done it before.

That's why I'm running for President," Bullock tweeted.�

The 53-year old governor is the 22nd democrat to enter the presidential Primary race.

Bullock has aggressively pushed for campaign finance regulations and vowed to continue his fight for transparency throughout his presidential campaign.

He has also been highlighting political spending and public corruption as key issues that he will emphasize in his campaign for US presidency.
