On the 5th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Moscow calls on the EU and NATO to stop practicing cheap politics and to recognize the choice of the residents of the peninsula, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Monday
"We would like the EU and NATO to stop engaging in political maneuvering and finally listen to the voice of the Crimean residents. It is time to recognize the democratic choice made by the people of Crimea and Sevastopol and to pay attention to the positive changes in their lives within the Russian Federation, as many non-biased representatives of the public and political circles of Western countries have already done. The current anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia is a good reason for this," the ministry said in a commentary.
