Russia may consider sending additional military advisers to the Central African Republic (CAR) if the country's government needs it, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said on Monday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd October, 2018) Russia may consider sending additional military advisers to the Central African Republic (CAR) if the country's government needs it, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said on Monday.
"We have advisers there, you know.
But everything depends on the wishes of the government of the Central African Republic and the country's authorities � what kind of help they need, to what extent. If we have the opportunity, we always respond to such wishes in order to promote stability and security, train personnel," Bogdanov told reporters when asked about the possibility of sending new Russian military instructors to the car.
The diplomat noted that Russia was eager to assist the political settlement in the African country and coordinated its efforts with the local government.
