Moscow Satisfied Russia, US Have Working Communications Channel on Syria - Lavrov

VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th September, 2018) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commended Wednesday the bilateral channel for communications between Moscow and Washington on Syria.

"I am very satisfied that we have s very professional communications channel with the United States on problems such as Syria," Lavrov said at the Eastern Economic Forum.

The minister expressed hope that the United States would understand the necessity to fight terrorism jointly with Russia "rather than try in any situation, such as in Syria now, to play against each other."
