Moscow To Seek Easing Anti-Pyongyang Sanctions At UN Security Council - Deputy Minister

VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th September, 2018) Moscow will raise the issue of easing the economic restrictions which are in place against North Korea at the UN Security Council, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov said Wednesday.
"As North Korea takes steps on denuclearization, we believe that the UN Security Council has the authority and should address the issue of adequate easing of the sanctions regime on North Korea. We will raise this issue assuming that north Korea will also take required steps," Morgulov said at the Eastern Economic Forum.
