A number of people have been hurt by a shooter who opened fire in a tram in the Dutch city of Utrecht, the police said Monday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th March, 2019) A number of people have been hurt by a shooter who opened fire in a tram in the Dutch city of Utrecht, the police said Monday.

"A shooting occurred on the 24 Oktoberplein in Utrecht. The incident has been reported at 10.45 hour [09:45 GMT]. Multiple people have been injured. The surrounding area has been cordoned off and we are investigating the matter," the police tweeted.
