Muslims Offer Asr Prayer In Same New Zealand Mosque Despite Carnage

A video after the attack is going viral on social media where call to prayer (Azan) is being given at the same mosque despite the tragedy.

Christchurch (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th March, 2019) New Zealand was struck by two deadly attacks in Christchurch on Friday, with 49 people killed and another 20 seriously injured after gun assaults on mosques as Muslims worshipped.

During afternoon prayers on Friday, a gunman opened fire inside the Masjid al Noor mosque in central Christchurch, killing 41. Another seven were killed at a second mosque five kilometres away in suburban Linwood, three of them outside the building.

The video depicts that such terror incidents cannot diffuse the true spirit of islam.

By offering prayer in the same mosque, Muslims gave a strong message that nothing can stop them from worshipping Allah and practicing their religion.
