N. Korea's Kim May Visit Ship Of Russian Pacific Fleet During Trip To Vladivostok - Source

VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd April, 2019) North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may visit one of the ships of the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet during his possible visit to the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok, a source, familiar with the situation, told Sputnik on Monday.

"According to preliminary data, [Kim Jong] Un may visit in Vladivostok a ship of the Pacific Fleet," the source said.

Meanwhile, another source has told Sputnik that North Korean official Kim Chang Son, known as North Korean leader's '"butler," has studied the territory of the Ship Embankment in Vladivostok, near which ships of the Pacific Fleet are stationed.

According to the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim will hold a meeting in Russia in the second half of April. Meanwhile, South Korean media have suggested that the talks are most likely to be held in Vladivostok.

A knowledgeable source told Sputnik last week that the meeting between Putin and Kim could be held in the Far Eastern Federal University, located in Vladivostok.
