New York, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2018 ) :The second NBA academy Games, featuring top prospects from around the world in exhibition matchups, will be staged next month in Australia, the league announced Thursday.
Prospects from NBA academies in China, India, Senegal, Mexico and Australia will play from July 15-21 at the NBA Global Academy in Canberra, with games open to NBA teams and US college coaches.
Academy coaches will also lead top players in clinics and seminars, including work in movement efficiency, positional skill development, health and wellness, leadership and communication.
"Our second NBA Academy Games will give returning and new prospects the opportunity to compete against and learn from one another," NBA vice President of International Basketball Operations Brooks Meek said.
Prospects traveled to Europe and the United States to compete against elite level rivals earlier this year and two NBA Academy graduates became the first to make verbal US college commitments.
