Netanyahu Told Putin S-300 Supplies To Syria To Increase Regional Security Risks - Office

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday that the prospective supply to Syria of Russia's S-300 air defense missile systems would increase risks in the region, Netanyahu's office said in a statement.

TEL AVIV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th September, 2018) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday that the prospective supply to Syria of Russia's S-300 air defense missile systems would increase risks in the region, Netanyahu's office said in a statement.

"The prime minister said that the supply of advanced weapons to irresponsible hands will increase the risks in the region," the statement said.

Netanyahu also said Israel and Russia would continue expert dialogue and coordination between the military following the Il-20 incident in Syria.
