New Delhi Expects Russia's Volodin, Shoigu, Patrushev To Visit India In 2018 - Ambassador

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st November, 2018) New Delhi expects the visit of the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to India by the end of this year, India's Ambassador�to Russia Bala Venkatesh Varma said Wednesday.
�"Our speaker [of parliament] looks forward to welcoming His Excellency Mr.
Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the State Duma, in December, which could further strengthen our parliamentary ties," Varma said at a meeting with Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs.�
�"These are not our only contacts between now and the end of the year. In mid-December we await the visit of Defense Minister Mr. Shoigu to India. And a little before Mr. Volodin's visit, we are expecting the visit of [Russian Secuerity Council Secretary] Mr. Patrushev's visit," the ambassador added.
