MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th February, 2019) Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin told Sputnik in an interview that it was senseless to hold a new Normandy format summit on Ukraine until Kiev adopts the law on the status of Donbas and withdraws troops.
"Given Kiev's chronic reluctance to fulfill the agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine at their meetings in Paris October 2015 and in Berlin October 2016, new summits in the Normandy format turn into a formality," the diplomat said.
