GAZA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th February, 2019) Nine Palestinians were injured on Sunday in clashes with Israeli troops near the Gaza Strip border, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf Qedra told Sputnik.
"Nine Palestinians were injured as a result of night clashes with the Israeli army in the city of Jabalia in the central part of the enclave," Qedra said.
Clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli military resumed after three teenagers were killed as a result of clashes near the Gaza Strip border more than a week ago.
The press service of the Israeli army, in turn, reported that on Sunday evening an Israeli soldier was injured by an explosive device thrown at him.
In response, the Israel Defense Forces' tanks attacked two Hamas military posts in the north of the Gaza Strip.
